The hosts were super cool and made us feel at home. The cottage was spacious and had the raddest artwork. We spent most of our time chilling in the sun trap garden and even got to use the gym. Plus, being so close to Ardrossan and Saltcoats meant we had epic adventures every day!
The only thing we wished for was a banging party room in the cottage. A place where we could crank up the tunes, dance all night, and have the wildest parties with our friends.

The apartment was comfortable and clean, with a lovely kitchen for self-catering. The bed was comfy and the linen fresh. The hosts were obliging and quickly provided a clothes airer when we requested one. The location was great, with easy parking and close proximity to Ardrossan, Saltcoats, and Stevenston. We also enjoyed the beautiful garden and the sunset views over Arran.
The only downside was that one of the bedrooms had an ensuite bathroom, while the other bedroom had to pass through the first bedroom to access the toilet at night. However, this didn't greatly affect our stay.

One of the best things about our stay was the location. We were just a stone's throw away from the beautiful Stevenston Beach, where we spent our evenings enjoying the stunning sunset views. It felt like stepping into a postcard!

We had a wonderful stay at Laighdykes Guest Cottage. The apartment was new, fresh, and comfortable, and the kitchen was perfect for preparing meals. The bed was comfortable, and the linen was fresh. We were impressed with the quick response from the hosts when we requested a clothes airer. The supermarket was conveniently nearby, and the area was nice to be in. The artwork in the cottage was lovely, and we enjoyed spending time in the sun-trap garden. The bonus gym was a great addition. Easy parking and close proximity to Ardrossan, Saltcoats, and Stevenston made exploring the area a breeze. The sunset over Arran was breathtaking.
The only drawback for us was that the bathroom was an en suite in one of the rooms, which was not ideal when traveling with another couple. However, it didn't affect our stay at all.

We booked with another couple for a new year/birthday treat. The price was so reasonable for new year, we initially thought it was incorrect. The kitchen was well-equipped for our self-catering needs. The bed was comfortable with fresh linen. The hosts were welcoming and the property and garden were very good.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.
